This September, I ran my first concert at Gospel Bowl 2025. Despite the rain and delays, I'd say it was a successful day of music and worship.
Experience
I’ve been working with live sound since I was 11 (almost a decade of experience), running audio in churches, schools, and community events. Over the years I’ve gained hands-on experience with mixers like the Peavey S-32 Sanctuary, Soundcraft SI Impact, Behringer X32 & Wing, and more.
At Indiana University Indianapolis, I’ve mixed for the Electro-Acoustic Ensemble (E/A Ensemble), a group that blends traditional instruments with live electronics. My role involved balancing everything from acoustic strings and winds to synthesizers and laptops.
Locally, I’ve set up and optimized the full Behringer Wing system at the Portage United Pentecostal Church (PUPC), where I configured routing, EQ, monitor mixes, wireless microphones, drum mics, and even a Hammond B3 organ with Leslie. We replaced the older Behringer X32 model that was previously installed. And thanks to my dad for revamping the sound booth table as well!
